My blog was recently added to Planet GNOME, so I’d like to introduce myself to the new audience:

My name is Jiří Eischmann and I work as an engineering manager responsible for apps in Red Hat. Besides apps such as Firefox, LibreOffice, Thunderbird, Chromium, Fedora Media Writer my team also contributes to many GNOME apps and components: Evolution, Nautilus, Music, Evince, Vinagre, Control Center,… I’ve been a GNOME Foundation member since 2008 and for example organized GUADEC 2013 in Brno. I’m also involved in the Fedora Project (Fedora ambassador for the Czech Republic, Fedora packager, Fedora Magazine writer,…).

This is a blog where I write work and open source related topics in English. I also have a blog in Czech where I write about pretty much anything.
